one in law doesn't speak english, italian, been here 45 years, rides bike to work , lives in italian neighborhood and works in italian factory, belongs to italian club, play bocci, italian type bowling. oh, he is a citizen.

mexico got its problems but i see that no reason to stop qualified drivers from coming across the border meeting dot requirements for safety. it makes sense to have them drive on to delivery point vs make work.

in frastructure collapsing. take pa for example i think we have 600 bridges that do not meet standards yet we got a congress who takes all these private little projects and runs them through congress for his own interest and his friends, etc. millions of dollars fed back to pa to support some positions the gov. says they do not want or need. Kennedy fightening to build something for armed services to keep jobs going in ma. again the armed services says they do not need or may never use. that has little to do with mexico. it has more to do with self interests in congress republican and democrats. like the bride to no where in alaska.

china lead in toys. my first thought, where we the managers of Mattel.. don't they have a quality control department, don't these toys get built according to specifications. someone at Mattel should be fired.. in fact several need to be fired. Mattel should have representatives at these factories in china or india etc to over see production and sample what is coming off lines etc.

I believe someone posted yesterday a ca. lettuce grower has bought land in mexico and now is going to grow his lettuce in mexico and ship back into states since he cannot hire illegals.. i would think he buy machine to eliminate most of the hand cutting in fields etc and get a cooperative to run lettuce through inspections and it might even make growing lettuce more profitable.

Letting drivers continue to drive the imports to the point of delivery is not opening the flood gates. No one has stopped the custom inspections, or from what i read, dot inspections.
