I know....But eBay is a great place to see what a whole group of things might go for...just bookmark them and see what the final dollar is.

A good way to tell about something....if you take a replacement value insurance price, then divide it into quarters....if you have to sell it at a 'distress' price that is a good price to shoot for.

For instance, you might have paid 300 for something 25 years ago. If it is appraised for replacement, the above is a good estimate for a quick sale. If it is appraised for value....then I look around to see what other similar items are priced for, and if you want to get rid of it, try 50% of the true value....If it's a rare piece, then people will have to pay a good price if they really want it.
