I am astonished how many believe the temperature is supposed to remain constant - in complete denial of past variations as if that was only in historic times and things are different now. Though I put little stock in the case for man made global warming - I'm 100% behind reducing our use of foreign oil and looking for greener forms of energy. I see no reason to fund middle eastern countries, that as far as I can tell, produce absolutely nothing useful. If they want to sit on their land and practice their faith isolated from the world - good for them. Interesting. So you do see some benefit to reducing American dependence on fossil fuels. Why do so many Republican kooks not have the same concerns?
