I pray for a normal, mediocre President. I'd be great to get another FDR, but a Ford would be an vast improvement.

I expect that, unless a full-on collapse is already happening by then, for an economic boom to occur with the next President.

From the middle of it, we haven't really been able to see how much the Bush global destabilization has hurt economic growth and global prosperity. Even a LITTLE sanity will be an amazing stimulus. Some butter investments instead of guns will go a long way.
