Well, it is not really modularized, but integrated to squeeze out the simple cmts players. Starts with hardware data compression, to software data compression, then video servers that can do data compression conversion and storage? I notice that CCUR started to control the integration themselves in VOD? Going from media distribution to presentation of video programming(multichannels) to backroom business processing(invoicing), single vendor monopoly positioning? ARRS still need backroom processing software to complete their products for cable and cable piggyback customers(ISP, portals, satellite TV, etc.)? It is interesting business development, last few years.
