Let's turn it around. If they expected great performance from Barcelona that would meaningfully improve AMD's position against Intel, it would be an incredibly stupid time to leave, given that AMD stock is low, and they would stand to benefit a great deal by sticking around for its Barcelona-enabled appreciation.
