Maybe it's incomplete and/or poorly remembered data on the postings, maybe combined with a bit of jealousy in re the energy of the poster ... maybe if those who want to make accusations could first document some substance as basis, then maybe they wouldn't come across as just being bitchy due to some personal quirk, and maybe we wouldn't all be so tarred by association as looking so frickin stupid
You're on the wrong track here, imho, the individual is as open about losses as about gains, in my experience, haven't seen all posts probably, and couldn't recall in detail of course, but never once got the sense of it that you are putting out ... and i tune into anything resembling deception pretty readily, as you know
Never had a programme to track pf value, never saw the use of one really, tend to focus on each individual stock as a stand-alone play, and over longer periods than most here see time framed in ... now you've given a good reason not to have one, inevitably a person would post performance at least sometimes, and somebody else would get pissed off [?] ... but now you've got me checking - in the main account after updating tonight i'm up over two per cent probably, this is from memory of what it was this morning, could be wrong, if not it's counter-intuitive because three main positions were flat to down today, on the other hand eight or ten had nice gains and many others were green, so maybe they more than balance out [or maybe it's the broker's seemingly random way of determining the Amex closing bids] ... who cares, i figure, because the macro view means little to trading decisions in juniors, they're not a herd, though they behave herdlike at times
Losers - yeah, well sure we've all got some, and had lots more in the past, Roxmark is my most irritating one at the moment ... they just tend to roll right off the memory storage for the most part, that's human nature, probably a useful trait evolutionarily speaking, as it frees up capacity for something productive ... not fair to point this at only one of us ... a single major winner makes up for a lot of them anyway, and we remember it longer and more clearly too, good on us |
