What part of "not part of the banking system" do you not understand? I know you're uneducated, but are you really this dense? Increasing insurance levels on bank deposits will not stop the run on non-bank investments. There is no government insurance for hedge funds and other investment groups who invested in these trash assets, nor will there be. Its "like a bank run" but it doesn't involve banks. Maybe your limited understanding of English is creating the problem you're having. Trying reading a Portuguese account of the current situation, preferably not in a tabloid newspaper with sightings of UFOs on the front cover. .
