The other thing that occurs to me about that post is that it completely ignores the demand side of the equation. To use your examples, how would it fit in your head if a significant portion of the population was actively trying to be raped? Then we would get posts about, yeah I was raped a few times and didn't like it. I can't imagine why so many people want to be raped. They even risk jail to be raped. People who want to be raped should be killed, or at least banned to Antarctica. Kind of like the gay thing. You know, I'm not gay and I can't imagine why anyone else would be. Let's kill the gay people, or at least pummel them a little for threatening my sexuality. I'm sorry, but that post really was silly. I know you feel strongly about this as evidenced by the lengths you have gone to to construct that argument, and I really do try not to be confrontational, but you might want to step back and take a few deep breaths. As might I. (and so I will). ARS
