In what seems like an ever-struggling industry: Air France-KLM (nyse: AKH - news - people ) is soaring high. The world’s largest airline in terms of revenue said passenger traffic rose almost 7% in August, the peak of the summer travel season. Earlier this week, the airline’s chief executive said it is still open to discussions about a possible merger with Italian flagship airline Alitalia.
