He was pounding the table on Kudlow the other day about how the Fed has to drop that FF rate down below where the market was for TBonds and TBills. Who sez the TBond or even the TBill rate is right? We've had irrational flights to quality during other default scares, driving short rates below the inflation rate for negative real returns. In a free market for money we'd never have negative real rates for any length of time.
