The guy has always been a clown they trot out on a regular basis to remark on what the Fed will or should do. What got me shouting at the TV the other night was listening to Larry "free market" Kudlow calling for a Fed cut to save the market. It's like everyone is a free market advocate until it comes to the price of money.
