We'll see next week if the markets finally go down the rabbit hole or there is another Fed rabbit. I'm sure the cut is coming, which may even be timed as a surprise for the bears on option expiration week (as usual; we know lots of examples -g-). There will be lots of efforts to prevent the crisis, and as we have seen in August, the efforts are coordinated between various CBs, most notably US and Europe. Will Japan raise this month? I doubt it. I see dollar got stuck at the lows. You have to appreciate the power of the cornered Fed to bite, but I do have a feeling we will go down the rabbit hole soon enough, the crisis can no longer be postponed. Another year would seem unbelievable given the situation at the moment.
