If memory serves, Fred has a American Conservative Union rating in the high 80's. I am not so sure that his position on the war on terror is the result of smart poll reading....does not seem to be anything wishy washy about his stance on that subject. Rudy & Mitt on the other hand have plenty of non-conservative positions in their background to tap dance about and they surely are. We heard the same crap about Reagan.
