By what standards are these drivers qualified, though? Mexican or American?

That China/Mattel lead in toys problem! And again on the news, Thursday, more lead in another bunch of toys. I thought it was the Barbie doll that saved Mattel from bankruptcy - but I happened to catch the story of Evel Knieval, and he said Mattel's Evel doll saved Mattel - regardless, parents trusted Mattel, now probably not. Sending the manufacturing jobs overseas may have saved money in the short term, but now - what parent wants his chldren playing with those toys, will stores refuse to carry their products? So back to Mexican truckers - what will we get that we don't have now? Hard to say exactly what future problems will occur, but we will end up with problems as a result of letting those truckers and higher costs for goods truckers provide. There is less than zero good that can come out of this.
