Russet, I own close to 70 miners and almost 30 energy stocks. Most of the ones we don't have in common are small positions that I hope will grow into large ones over time, so I am much more leveraged than you are. This is why I lost all of my gains for the year in August. I have recouped about 35% of those August losses so far but expect another bottom next month before things really take off. If you thinking I am a lying SOB just put me on ignore rather than taking juvenile Yahoo-style shots at me and disrupting the collegiality of this and the other boards where you have been disparaging me. Ironically, I realized this weekend I have been underreporting my overall gains for time periods of a month or longer, because I have been adding up the cost basis of individual stocks rather than using the overall capital I have put into the portfolio to calculate the percentage.
