You should take COq10 with ACE inhibitors. (In the original patent of Lipitor which has similar action to the BP drugs) Also two other good ones, very protective of the liver are n-acetyl cysteine, and silymarin.

Watch your liver enzymes, especially if you are taking niacin or statins at the same time.
