Yup, that's the calc, and it's been going on for years now, negating any consideration of a "delay" equity investment fruition effect. Just like "core" inflation, supposedly superior to headline inflation, because the former deletes "volatile" components of food and energy. Okay, it's all right to ignore food and energy from month to month, but NOT from year to year!!! Just more Gubmint manipulation of the numbers, dumbing down the populace. Still, the most important question now is, will the coming turbulence be inflationary (perhaps then followed by deflation), or deflationary from the gitgo? Inquiring minds want to know! NC ;o)
