I get the same results in FF 2 and IE 6, BTW.

The subjectmarks.apsx font is still quite legible, and actually works well, since this is a page where one is reading for recognition, not comprehension.

may be an issue of strict vs quirks mode rendering by the browsers.

I don't see a doctype in either version. Is that the intent?
