How?

I've read about a device that monitors the head position and if it nods forward it rings an alarm - something like that?

I know the Japanese are developing systems that guide the vehicle on the highway, apply the brakes appropriately as needed and do not require any driver input - kinda like an autopilot on airplanes - THAT I like.
