I just came across this site today, and was all about to extoll the
virtues of Barrington when I saw that it was on your top 20 list.

I've been thinking about Talisman for a few weeks now -- have I missed
the boat, or is there still decent upside?

If you're looking for a baby company that's speculative enough to
(maybe) have lots of upside, but real enough to have production, take
a look at Trego Energy (TEI:ASE). I've been in it for quite a while,
and am hoping that my patience will be rewarded. They've done well
with financing, including a large private placement earlier this year,
and have a nice production profile.
