Do you really believe all that stuff?
Well, I don't! I take it with a pinch of salt. It is the sort of stuff meant for the gullible/naive and Bush's cheerleading crowd!
The apparent disappearance of insurgent forces from urban areas when US troops are around does not necessarily signify US success. Rather, it probably means that the insurgents have moved into rural areas and are ready to wage guerilla warfare should US forces be brave (and/or smart enough! LOL) to go there to engage them. As I see it, the insurgents have been fighting, on and off, elsewhere in Iraq, in accordance with Mao Zedong's guerilla tactics.
In case you didn't know, the war in Iraq is proceeding according to plan; whether victory will be achieved is still is anyone's guess, I suppose. But this much we know for sure: the US has been playing Shiites against Sunnis and Sunnis against Shiites to make them mutually weaken one another so that it would be easy for the US to be top dog in Iraq sooner or later.
So far, everything has been going according to plan or so it would seem. First, the US created Saddam and then got him to go to war against Iran (1979-1988) and gave him poison gas (WMD) to kill Iranians. This war caused Iraq and Iran to mutually weaken each other. As if this was not enough, Saddam was maneuvered into invading Kuwait (1990-1991); the result was Iraq was defeated and weakened further. Then, pretending to be very nice to Saddam, Bush Sr. refused to topple him ven when he could have done that so very easily. Instead, Bush Sr. hailed him as "stabilizing force in the Middle East." Next, as if on cue from some unseen forces, the US demonized Saddam bigtime, calling for regime change (murder in fact) in the name of democratization of Iraq, and giving Iraqis a better way of life, when in fact the real objective is the seizure and control of Iraq oil and repeating the same procedure for Iran! Are we not seeing that this is about to happen anytime soon? . . |
