Absolutely! "I respect such people when the uncertain outcome is worthwhile." The American patriots who risked their lives and their livelihoods for the nobel cause that became the beacon of freedom are to be admired. Those who seek to cast any effort to lead as a quagmire are to be condemned (at least when their allegiances seem more closely allied with Bin Laden than American interests).
