OK, that's your choice, but don't act as though it's correct or somehow superior; it ain't. It's both correct AND superior to your blind faith attempt to trust someone else's opinion, who hasn't tested or benchmarked a 3.0GHz part (Sood has only been privvy to an extended demo, AFAICT). At least the benchmarks released today show 2.0GHz to 2.5GHz scaling for Barcelona, and one shouldn't expect scaling to 3.0GHz to change dramatically. I'll pick data and simple extrapolation over opinion any day!
