>>Law Firm: Court Approves $52.5M Settlement Vs Sepracor
Last update: 9/10/2007 1:44:34 PM
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
A Massachusetts district court approved a $52.5 million settlement in two separate but related securities class actions against Sepracor Inc. (SEPR), according to Berger & Montague LLC, one of the law firms involved in the cases.
The lawsuits related to the Marlborough, Mass., pharmaceutical company's alleged concealment of safety concerns surrounding Soltara, an antihistamine rejected by the Food and Drug Administration in 2002.
The suits were filed on behalf of holders of the company's convertible debt securities and holders of its common stock, call options and put options during May 17, 1999, to March 6, 2002.
Officals at Sepracor weren't immediately available for comment.

Sepracor's been weak of late, and is weak today. Figured it was mostly the wobbly scrip data, but perhaps this is actual news? Was the hit n this expected to be this large?

TIA & Cheers, Tuck
