I think "no".

I think the key is how close is AMD to transitioning to 45 nm.

I doubt they'll get much out of 45nm, as they aren't doing HK/MG. I think the key is probably how large a lead Intel can build with Penryn, and then Nehalem, and the latter's timing.

IDF promises to be quite interesting next week. We already know Q3 is in the bag for Intel, now it is time to see all the goodies coming in Q4 and beyond.
