I'm not so sure that politicians have thick skins.
So many seem to squeal like stuck pigs half the time.

That moveon.org ad in the NYT was really something.
It was like something devised in a kindergarten classroom.
They may as well have said "Liar, Liar, pants on fire."

It displayed the same level of maturity, or lack thereof.

I've become convinced that the Dems really know their audience. They pretend to be intellectuals, but in reality, are dumber than dirt. That has to be why an ad like that is even considered. It speaks to the snobbery of the small minded hack.

Tonight I heard some woman from Code Pink on the radio.
She had a million brilliant ideas. "We need to get out of Iraq as fast as is safely possible." "We shouldn't let American companies have the contracts for rebuilding. The Iraqis should do it themselves with our money." "We shouldn't
try to rebuild Iraq, it should be done by the neighboring countries."

Unfortunately, the host didn't cross-ex her.
That could have been some real fun.
She sounded as intelligent as Loretta Sanchez (D-CA (Santa Ana) during her questioning of Petraeus. She couldn't fall all over a BBC poll enough in framing her *brilliant* questions. (I'm sure Code Pink sent her the poll, too. Either that or both Sanchez and the Code Pinkette were on the same daily talking points distribution list...)

If these people weren't so scary, they'd be hilarious.
