Petraeus' chart:

powerlineblog.com

According to the chart, attacks are decreasing sharply but are still higher than they were before the bombing of the Golden Dome of Samarra.

However, the pertinent question isn't whether things are great in Iraq. The pertinent question is whether it is time to pull the plug and admit defeat. Seems crazy at a moment when the trendline is so sharply in our favor.

At least it does to me. A number of Congresspeople with D's after their name seem so invested in the idea that the they have to claim that Petraeus is making it all up, though they haven't a shred of evidence.

But they support they troops!

Just not any member of the chain of command.
