6 months is way too far into the future, and such expectations
are never accurate. The question is if they dare to upset
this September. A cut of 25 to 50 bp. is "priced in", along
with 100 bp. by December, which is only 3 months away. All
they did was to manage future expectations, while following
what futures indicated for the current meeting. Even THAT was
an upset (they did not lower in the future). Did they ever
do something the current month futures market did not expect
them to do? I don't remember, and, in the recent past - I don't
think so. There is a chance, but that would be a huge upset.

In any event, the Fed will upset something. Either the dollar
or stocks. -g-
