Dont tell me you missed this! DOW JONES NEWSWIRES American Technology Corp. (ATCO) Tuesday named Katherine H. McDermott chief financial officer. The San Diego-based maker of directed acoustics products said McDermott replaces Tom Brown, the company's president and chief executive, who was named interim financial chief on Sept. 20, 2006, after it fired Steve Stringer. McDermott has been controller and chief accounting officer for American Technology since June 28.
