I know the difference, but a half a trillion in TOMO is huge
nevertheless. The credibility of the Fed with me is zero. They
just painted themselves into the corner by blowing bubbles, and
are now trying to Yack and bite their way out of that corner,
which is no longer possible. The crisis
is on its way. Risk has been severely mispriced. We are
seeing repricing of risk (spreads) in the bond market, and we'll
see that in the stock market (VIX AND stock prices) and the
currency market (carry trade collapse) as well. The dollar may
even rise initially.
