I was at work and a coworker said something about it. We had multiple high speed internet connections but pulling up CNN or FoxNews was painfully slow. Before the second plane crashed I commented that it had to be terrorists.

Not much work happened on that day. It was comforting to know that the President was en route to the Great Plains to tough it out at CentComm until they figured out it was only state sponsored terror and not a state to state conflict.
