We have so many international folks here in the DC area permanently and temporarily that I would never be able to tell whether there's been an increase or decrease in tourism. Just seems there should be more of it now, with the dollar being down.

More than 40 countries were represented in the student body of my kids' elementary school many years ago. Go anywhere and you hear all sorts of tongues being spoken. This is an international town and a tourist spot anyway.......so maybe the imported folks are coming for leisure and are just blending in. I hope more come and take advantage of the low dollar and spend here--and buy condos in Florida and other needy places.
