But --- if one undertakes to ACTUALLY 'defeat' (in any kind of a total and long-term and permanent sense...) 'radical' or totalitarian Islam, then that is EXACTLY WHAT YOU MUST UNDER-TAKE TO DO: Re-engineer their societies, change the path of the future, alter the world in a major and fundamental way
This is where I believe our differences begin... I agree with you about the end goal, but I think these societies will be able to restructure themselves (with our help) once the threat and the disease is removed... you can't start a re-engineering and rebuilding program or work out regime at the gym to build your body until your body is healthy enough to undergo that kind of rigor... I believe every country in the world would want a democracy, why else do people risk their lives to steal away in the middle of the night to get here, the land of freedoms and liberties?
I think we both mis-take what each one says, I suppose we spin without realizing it, it's easy to do... okay, so I said nuke 'em all, well, that's how I feel, but I agree it's not really practical... or I probably would...<g>
