we cannot say it was peaceful demonstration once police came to break them up. It looks like they refused. Too bad they didn't go without resistance. brussels , no idea what rules they have about demonstrations. Perhaps these people didn't have a permit.. perhaps there are no demonstrations allowed in the area they were demonstrating.. this is missing from background of the event. not to say they were not demonstrating for a great cause.
