Dear Robert: This is what Cray says: cray.com The unbuffered memory part make it sound like A64 FX socket F CPUs are used. That would be 2S since thay are sold in pairs and are cheaper than 2S Opteron 22xx and 23xx CPUs. Of course they also have XMT and X1D (Octibay), the latter using 82xx series Opterons. Pete
