George, the market reaction is really strange.

MSFT has a lot more to lose than SUNW, just my opinion of course. MSFT is a software company and derive all their revenue from software. SUNW is a hardware company who wants to move into the software market via JAVA but has yet to make any money via JavaSoft. This battle, other than atty fees, has the potential of hurting MSFT immediately while it may delay a future potential for SUNW.

Are there any attys out there?

It is my understanding that injunctions get heard fairly quickly. What if SUNW succeeds in halting the new IE release? Though not likely, it would seem to me that anything negative could be detrimential to MSFT. Add Ralph Nader, the justice department, all the other licensees and who knows how many developers, the risk to MSFT is astronomical.

I have no position in MSFT but I am amazed by the price action since this news is out. Who is buying?
