Amazing...Petraeus and Crocker cannot predict what will happen if we stay even after 5 years of "staying" but they know for certain that "catastrophe" awaits our leaving. Now a look back at history of the two recent wars that we chose to enter; Korea and Vietnam... Korea we did not leave and after 50+ years we are still there and upset with our South Korea allies because they want peace. Vietnam we did choose to leave and now the President of the USA can freely (not secretly) fly into any part of the country where, btw, we do not have any permanent air bases, attend a scheduled conference and travel from the airport to the hotel without hitting an IED. Yup, certainly "catastrophe" awaits our leaving.
