my father had been up for a visit, I took him to the airport that morning for his flight home when I got back, I didn't turn TV on, for I don't like TV and it was a relief to have the house quiet he called soon after, grounded and at the airport, telling me what had happened and would I come right away to pick him got to our airport just before the closed it down he was standing there waiting, with an armed security guard at his side I rushed out of the car into his arms and began to sob it's not that I thought he was in danger for it hit me at that moment that everyone one of those people killed had started the morning just as my father had - expecting a normal day we drove home in silence, listening to the radio really didn't talk much the rest of they day - just watching the horror unfold on tv I believe it was over a week before he could catch a flight home
