Lets compare Sept 11th 2007 versus Sept 11 2006. Nasdaq reporting data;

Sept 11 2007
# of Companies Total shares Total trades Block trades
3286 1,796.bil shs 5,735,241 9,014

Sept 11 2006
# of Companies Total shares Total trades Block trades
3337 1,754.bil shs 4,764,580 10,272

51 fewer companies trading this year, almost same volume with a million more trades and 1,200 fewer block trades.

Pretty damn interesting if you ask me.

We know what our complex is doing, while these gross numbers for the Naz illustrate how dire the case is for all the inertia laid on this market.

I suspect without the broker dealers facilitating fake matched shares.....this market should be far higher, folks are stalking the dips of a declining Supply.

Make a note of it.
