I think that the price of sun's stocks has more to do with the earning worries than the lawsuit. Many people shorted sun in anticipation of the earning shortfall. If sun earning beats the street's estimate, you
will see the price will skyrocket as the shorters scramble to cover their postions.
As for msft, they have a history of winning these lawsuits. People are
betting that this is no exception.
