JAKARTA (AfX-ASIA) - The drought-related death toll in Irian Jaya
province has reached 413, Kompas daily reported.
Jayawijaya district head JB Wenas said bad weather conditions, compounded
by the thick smoke haze from forest fires in the region, have hindered the
delivery of food and medical relief supplies to the most severely affected
areas.
