In 1958 I was on a flight from LA to Chicago. TWA Constellation with 4 propellers. Shortly out of LA the Stews (yep that's what they were lovingly called) broke out a couple of harmonicas and we all did "sing along". Fun... until one engine failed and we made an emergency stop in Las Vegas where we were treated to lunch. TWA took the 3 engined plane back to LA and came back with a new one. In that 4 hour period stuck at the airport, I met the girl who would become my wife and the mother of my 2 kids. That lasted 38 years before cancer came to our house and took her away.
