no joke....

it just pisses me off considering the amount of educational resources so readily available...

hell, anyone with a computer can look up 'deep-seated'and find their answer instantaneously

the situation reminds me of an incident where i had the 'opportunity' to read an essay test of a second year college student....i was appalled at the quality of the writing skill, obvious misspellings and incorrect grammatical construction, at least one sentence was totally incoherent to me...

but that wasn't the appalling part...

what appalled me the most was the total LACK of instructor correction of the obvious mistakes....instead written in the margins were little comments like 'that sounds great!'...'well put!' wrt his grading of content....i saw absolutely NO correction of the grammatical and spelling mistakes, NONE.

talk about the blind leading the blind

mind you this is a second year course at a major university on the west coast....the class was "communications"

geezus, we are doomed
