please tell me you are joking.....

eventually i enrolled my 2 in private schools as i saw the direction educational standards were headed in my area (midwest) but in my wildest imaginings, i would have never expected to get a note such as what you have described...in fact, despite my general dissatisfaction with the public schools in my area, there were always some excellent teachers within the mix....you pretty much had to hope for the best as your child moved up (teachers reputations, good and bad, preceded them)... but eventually we decided our kids' education was far too important to held hostage to the 'luck of the draw' and enrolled them in a private schools with much higher standards

a decision i have never regretted despite the additional expense and time spent privately transporting them a fair distance from home
