Nearly as long isn't the same as "as long".

We're talking a few months difference.

Illegal immigrants are poorer than most Americans and there is a correlation between poverty and shorter life spans. Legal immigrants and the descendants of immigrants probably due ok in terms of life span, but the illegal immigrants are very likely to have shorter life spans.

They did a study in LA. It was a real shocker. Mexicans ate much healthier food than Anglos. They had less incidence of alcoholism, heart attacks, cancer, tooth decay, etc. Where they differed from Anglos......they couldn't afford health insurance. Bingo~

"European Americans (born in the USA)live about as long as their "cousins" in Germany, England, Scotland and Ireland. Asians Americans (born in the USA) live about as long as Asians who live in "First World Asian Nations", and Hispanics born in the United States can expect to live just as long, if not longer than their cousins in other countries (whether they live in Cuba or Spain). "

So what? The American lifespan is shorter than there's. Why won't you accept reality?
