While the attention is on oil, food isn't. US drivers can't change their driving habits, thus can't cut on gasoline. As a result they are cutting on their desserts.

While we talk about the impact in the world economy of 2.5 billion new workers and BRICs we are not looking carefully that there are 2.5 biilion stomachs.

As they move up the food scale the economy is going to change abd there are a lots of impacts.
