Ken, yeah, that looks a lot like the ones I flew on during my childhood of so long ago. My family had moved to California, and every summer I flew back to St. Louis to stay with my grandparents. Yes, always but always, it was on TWA, "'cause they never, ever crashed."

In those days, children were allowed to fly alone, sans an accompanying adult; the "stews" looked out for us. As I said, I had more fun on those flights than I probably should have. The "stews" back then were a tolerant and obliging lot.

Yes, the story you tell of your many canceled flights tells me there may really be something to that fate thingie. <g> - Holly
