it would be nice to see what the safety or unsafe driver factor has been where mexican trucks have been allowed to operate within the 25 mile usa zone for years. i thought somewhere the department of commerce mentioned more jobs were created than outsourced in usa .. perhaps i will try to find some data over the weekend.. vs reading teamsters nonsense of one sided reporting. to review these situation it would be nice to present both sides of the picture. like $400,ooo millions dollars a year in savings. again i think i posted that reference awhile back. be nice to see how the savings are achieved and broken down. Wonder how europe delivered goods via truck through all those countries,, italy, france, england etc. etc..i expect those drivers don't speak several languages. wonder what the safety record was for drivers coming from one country and making a delivery into another country. We know the unions are very strong in eu.. why did they allow these practices.
