9/14/07 update
Although the Nasdaq Biotech Index managed a bit of a gain for the week, this was of little avail to the smaller-cap Charity Contest stocks . At Friday's close, the NBI closed up 4.95 % YTD (vs. up 3.66% YTD a week ago), while the Charity Contest portfolio median finished down -9.38% YTD (vs. down -7.47% YTD a week ago).
At week's end, 12 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black YTD (finally, including my own portfolio), with just 7 of the 31 beating the NBI.
TECHNET's portfolio (up 17.8% YTD) climbed back into the Contest lead, with FRED (up 14.5% YTD) grabbing second place.
Have a wonderful weekend folks!
